Joshua walked into the family room where Dinah was holding the directions to a game and grumbling to herself. "Got a problem, Dinah?" he asked cheerfully.
"What do you care?" she shot back angrily.
"Well, my homework is done and I thought I could help," Joshua replied.
"I don't understand these stupid directions," Dinah virtually shouted at him.
"Give me a try. Maybe together we can figure it out."
So together they read through the directions, which really were awful, and finally they figured out how to play the game. After two rounds of the game, Dinah was feeling much better.
"Another game tomorrow, Josh?" she asked.
"Sure," he replied.
