As they were falling asleep, Rachel and Danny heard the sound of gentle rain drops falling on the roof. Pitter patter, pitter patter. It was a lovely sound.

"Guess we won't have to water the garden after all," Danny said sleepily.

"Guess not," agreed Rachel, and then she turned over and pulled her blanket up around her face and fell asleep.

The children slept well in their own beds. It felt good to be home. The sound of rain was soothing and they dreamed about watering their garden, playing with their friends again, and starting school.
